Respek-BA has been writing rhymes & making beats since 1997. In 2003 he agreed to release his first record with Kriminal Records, a Glasgow-based label ran by Scottish hip-hop legened Big Div of the Major Threats. BA then moved to Glasgow & began recording an archive of new material, totalling over 100 songs. In 2004 BA began work as hype man for UK hip-hop legend, Blade. In 2004/5/6 BA & Blade toured around over 15 countries in Europe and almost every major city (& some less major ones!) in the UK.
