In the Wake of Giants was started in May of 2006 by Drayton Frey, Dan Baldauff, Justin Nixon and Sam Rodgers-Melnick. After a year of recording in various living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and church sanctuaries, the band finally produced enough material for a full-length record. In April 2008, In the Wake of Giants released their self-titled album, and it has been gaining momentum ever since.
