Disaster Area are a glam rock/metal band from Scotland, featuring members of Common Gods and Whyte Tiger. Likely named for the "plutonium rock" band of the same name in Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, which was described as "not only the loudest rock band in the Universe, but in fact the loudest noise of any kind at all".
