Ever since I was a little girl, I sang. I LOVED to sing. I would get up on the fireplace at my grandparents' house and pretend it was my stage. I would always watch the Wizard of Oz, and sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

​I'm from a small town called Virden, in Illinois. There's about 3,500 people where I'm from, and everyone knows everyone. I've always wanted to move away and do something with my life, because it seems most people from here just stay around here, and I've never wanted that!
