Solu Music is a New York based record label and house music producing duo created by Howie Caspe and Dano Nathanson. Caspe and Nathanson met in the spring of 1998 when Caspe (keyboards) joined Nathanson (guitar) in the already existent and popular R&B/Funk/Soul cover band, Lippsmackadee.
During the two years in the band, Caspe & Nathanson forged a strong friendship and working relationship. They soon realised that they were musical counterparts and left Lippsmackadee to focus on their own original projects.
