Ellie Gee was one of several pseudonyms that top Brill Building songwriter Ellie Greenwich recorded under during her early career. Under the name Ellie Gee & the Jets, she put out a 1961 single on the Madison label, "I Go, You Go"/"Red Corvette." "I Go, You Go," though a Greenwich composition, is a mediocre and formulaic early-'60s pop/rock ditty, with some annoyingly histrionic female backup vocals.
