Formed in the winter of 1998 under the name Urbanstyle, Crash boom bang is local to the northern Virgina music scene, performing shows all along the east coast.
Their drummer, Mauricio, went on tour with The Army of Freshmen in 2004 resulting in the rest of the band changing their style, calling themselves falls church during this time.
Upon the return of Mauricio they re-formed under the name Crash Boom Bang.
